Tradewinds Park is one of Broward County's largest and most versatile public parks — 600+ acres that include Butterfly World, a county fairgrounds, equestrian stables and riding trails, the Tradewinds Athletic Complex with multi-use sports fields, picnic pavilions, and the Broward County Fairgrounds at the north end of the property. The Broward County Fair runs annually in the fall at this location, drawing tens of thousands of visitors across its run and making Sample Road nearly impassable without a staged bus drop. For school field trips combining Butterfly World with outdoor education, Tradewinds Park offers a full day's program in one location.

Amerant Bank Arena is the 19,250-seat home of the Florida Panthers, a 20-minute drive west from Coconut Creek via Wiles Road, and one of South Florida's premier concert venues between October and June. The arena hosts NHL hockey, major touring concerts, family shows, and large-scale events year-round. On-site general parking runs $20–$35 per game and requires pre-purchase for major events — and the lots along Panther Parkway fill within 90 minutes of a sold-out puck drop.
The commercial drop-off zone is on the east side of the arena, and the approach from Coconut Creek via Wiles Road to Nob Hill Road is the most direct — but expect Nob Hill to back up badly on game nights. We recommend checking the official Amerant Bank Arena parking page before your visit.

Sawgrass Mills is the largest outlet and value retail mall in the United States — 2.4 million square feet of shopping across more than 350 stores, restaurants, and entertainment anchors including an AMC theater and the Colonnade Outlets section for luxury brands. It draws visitors from across South Florida and international tourists, which means weekend parking across its enormous surface lots is a genuine logistical undertaking. Bus and oversized vehicle parking is available in designated sections of the outer lots; the main Sawgrass Mills entrance off Flamingo Road handles most group drop-offs.
A shopping trip to Sawgrass Mills on a Coconut Creek charter bus cuts out the lot-circling and lets everyone shop together, load bags into the undercarriage bays at the end, and head home in one vehicle.
